Senior Product Manager (Job Code: SC13132)

    Responsibilities:
  • Identify Supermicro product features and enhancements and manage their entire lifecycle from idea conception to post-launch monitoring and improvements;
  • Define and champion product roadmap and product requirements based on input from managers, competitive and market analyses, and requirements from business development, engineering and analytics;
  • Define, track, and report on key business metrics & customer behavior, including feature penetration, user behavior patterns, site flow and traffic patterns to drive feature prioritization and consumer insights;
  • Work with marketing & sales on new products launch and promotion;
  • Utilize strong project management and technical leadership to drive computer products development for worldwide sales.
    Requirements:
  • 8+ years of business experience in consumer internet, with increasing levels of responsibility and accountability for organization goals;
  • Proven record that includes 5+ years in product management for a high volume website with a focus on direct consumer traffic and user experience;
  • Experience in managing aggressive and dynamic projects, with competing resources and priorities;
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership for end-to-end product lifecycle with a demonstrated ability to drive product planning, development, and launch;
  • Proven quantitative, analytical, and technical skills;
  • Superior communication and teamwork skills;
  • Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels;
  • Extremely well organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Proficiency with web based applications;
  • BSEE/CS, or equivalent. MSEE and/or MBA preferred.
