System Product Manager, OEM Accounts (Job Code: SC18012)

    Supermicro is looking for a dynamic Product Manager to be a part of our system team who will be managing the OEM accounts. The candidate will be managing OEM products, working closely with customers to understand their needs and requirements, collaborate with different departments such as production, RMA, sales, marketing, warehouse, technical support to provide a smooth operation.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Job included but not limited to:

  • Support sales team in technical fields of Server / OEM system business practices.  Provide support to define customer requirements, develop and drive localized/customized server products.
  • Define and release OEM product roadmap planning and design, drive the OEM products from conceptual to EOL stage.
  • New Product Introduction (NPI) management of sample/pilot-run production.
  • Leverage existing resources and coordinate them for customization on OEM products and meeting customer’s development schedule.
  • Lead cross-function teams for post-sales supports such as RMA, failure analysis, ECO implementations, etc.
  • Provide documentation and technical know-how to support OEM system production lines.
  • Drives quality improvements by eliminating sources of defects in the design, new product introduction, and manufacturing processes.
  • Qualifications:

  • Education: BS/MS EE, CE, CS, or other engineering fields
  • 4+ years of Server technology or related experience
  • Experienced in configuring server systems or OEM business for electronic appliances.
  • Strong knowledge with computer architectures
  • Work experience in other contract manufactures will be a plus
  • Ability to work independently with customer but teamwork with colleagues
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers for technical and quality issues during development and production
  • A positive presentation and a can-do attitude
