Charles Liang
President & CEO, Supermicro
Charles Liang founded Supermicro and has served as our President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board since our inception in September 1993. Mr. Liang has been developing server system architectures and technologies for the past two decades. From July 1991 to August 1993, Mr. Liang was President and Chief Design Engineer of Micro Center Computer Inc., a high-end motherboard design and manufacturing company. From January 1988 to April 1991, Mr. Liang was Senior Design Engineer and Project Leader for Chips & Technologies, Inc., a chipset technology company, and Suntek Information International Group, a system and software development company. Mr. Liang has been granted many server technology patents. Mr. Liang holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University of Science & Technology in Taiwan.
Tony Scott
former Federal CIO, U.S. Government
Tony Scott is America's CIO. He's filled that role at the Walt Disney Company, Microsoft and VMware, and served as the third Federal CIO of the United States, appointed by President Barack Obama. As a pioneer of cloud computing, he's also helped drive one of today's biggest sources of digital disruption and defined enterprise IT. In this exclusive keynote, Scott will explore the forces transforming the modern-day datacenter, applying his unique perspective on the history of disruptive technologies to examine where IT is heading in the future.
Shesha Krishnapura
Intel Fellow and CTO of Intel IT
Shesha Krishnapura is Intel Fellow and Intel IT Chief Technology Officer. He is responsible for driving continuous transformation of Intel Data Center Facilities, High Performance Computing (HPC) for Electronic Design Automation (EDA), and optimal computing platforms for Enterprise Computing. Since 2001, he is leading the enablement of optimized Intel Architecture (IA) based platforms in EDA industry and driving EDA application vendors to bring just-in-time IA optimized solutions for silicon design engineers. Shesha is founding chair of external EDA computing board of advisors which influences compute platform standards at EDA vendors. His external enablement has resulted in more than 80 press releases, articles, web casts, and pod casts.
Sudhir Kalra
Global Head of Enterprise Datacenters, Morgan Stanley
Sudhir Kalra is an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley in the Core Infrastructure division with over 25 years of experience in global engineering, operations & management of data centers and corporate real estate portfolios. Sudhir serves as the Global Head of Enterprise Data Centers and has been at Morgan Stanley for over ten years. Sudhir is a board member of the 7X24 Exchange New York City Metro Chapter and serves on the fund-raising committee for the Ronald McDonald House charity. Sudhir’s hobbies (golfing and car racing) help him burn through his earnings, but teach him a lot about risk management, persistence and safety, which helps him better manage the firm’s data center portfolio.
Andrew Nusca
Digital Editor, FORTUNE
Andrew Nusca is the digital editor of Fortune and co-chair of its Brainstorm Tech conference. He also directs technology coverage across all Time Inc. publications. He is based in New York.
