Supermicro Unveils Intel® 865 G/PE- Based System Boards
Featuring 800 MHz System Bus optimized for extreme gaming

SAN JOSE, CA (May 21, 2003) - Super Micro Computer, Inc., a leader in the design and manufacture of server solutions and motherboards, today released the Intel 865G/PE-based system boards: the P4SPA+/P4SPE. These products support Pentium 4 800MHz system bus processors, and an option of 8xAGP or onboard Intel EXTREME Graphics II, delivering to the user the ultimate gaming and grahics experience.

Integrating cutting edge innovations with superior board designs, the P4SPA+/P4SPE represent the matrix of high-end gaming platform or cost-effective workstations at mainstream desktop motherboard prices. These boards support Pentium 4 or Celeron Processors speeds of up to 3.06 GHz (with Hyper Threading) with 800MHz of system bus speed, built-in Gigabit LAN(*Note), and up to 4GB Dual-Channel DDR 400/333/266 SDRAM with 4 DIMMs. Furthermore, they can also accommodate two SATA HD drives. Supermicro’s engineers also give these boards unlimited expansion possibilities via 8 USB 2.0 ports.
