Supermicro Enables Intel Core2 Extreme Quad-Core Processor QX6700 (Kentsfield) Support
Supermicro Quad-Core Boosts Performance and Performance-per-Watt on Uni-Processor (UP) Solutions
San Jose, CA, November 14, 2006 - Super Micro Computer, Inc., the leader in high-efficiency systems, chassis and motherboards, today announced support for the new Intel® Core™2 Extreme quad-core processor on its extensive line of new uni-processor (UP) solutions based on Intel 3010, 3000, G965 and P965 chipsets. Supermicro's new earth-friendly, high-efficiency, multi-core solutions now support Intel's new quad-core processor to offer users a substantial performance and performance-per-watt boost.
