I/O Optimized Server Solutions

Supermicro has created the new I/O Optimized product category focused on applications requiring intensive inputs and outputs to and from the server systems. These applications could be in data management, real-time controls, display applications, industrial process control, financial trading, military, aerospace, medical imaging, and a host of other applications requiring high I/O bandwidth. In addition to 10 PCI-E 3.0 slots for massive I/O, these I/O Optimized server systems include many attractive standard features such as the new Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 series of dual socket processors, up to 512GB ECC Reg. DDR3-1600MHz SDRAM in 16 sockets, redundant Platinum Level power supplies, hardware RAID, Gigabit LAN, IPMI 2.0 (dedicated LAN) with Virtual Media/KVM over LAN, and a variety of convenient 2U, 3U, and 4U form factors.
