Question I am using X8SIL mother board and I cannot create any onboard raid. Why? Answer This MB X8SIL is using Intel 3400 Chipset and it doesn’t have an optional feature to create onboard raid. You have to use hardware raid on this motherboard. Only X8SIL-F or X8SIL-V motherboards have onboard raid because they use the Intel 3420 Chipset. Was this FAQ helpful?
