We have received complaints of our SM IPMI cards being used for NTP DOS attacks.

Please contact our tech support to request the latest test firmware available. Below are the specific version that should fix it. Once we validate it, we will release the new versions on our Supermicro website.



  • For SYS-1027R-WRF4+ and SYS-5017R-MTRF please use fw X9 3.21

  • For SYS-1018D-73MTF and SYS-5018D-MTLN4F please use fw X10 1.30

  • For AS-1012G-MTF please use fw SMT_3.12

  • For SYS-5026T-3FB please use fw X8ST3 2.20
