Question |
I have Supermicro motherboard X9DRL-if with two Intel Xeon E5-2650 CPUs and 4 memory DIMMs (HMT31GR7CFR4C-PB) installed. When I power on, the system started and stoped at SYSTEM INITIALIZING with error code 2F. What does the error code 2F mean? Why it is generated? |

Answer |
Error code 2F means memory initialization. It is generated thru the BIOS. You may have memory issue. Please check your memory DIMMs and motherboard’s DIMM sockets. |
