Question
Can I install 68-pin Ultra-wide hard drives in Supermicro's SCA mobile rack?

Answer
No, the combination is not compatible. The mobile rack uses an SCA backplane which requires 80-pin SCA hard drives. Moreover, the mobile rack supports Low Voltage Differential (LVD) SCSI drives not Single Ended (SE) SCSI drives. SE drives are Ultra-wide and slower, LVD drives are Ultra2Wide, Ultra160 and Ultra320 devices.
