I have a question about using the X10SAE motherboard without a video card. I am using an xeon E3-1340V3 cpu. I know this cpu does not have cpu video. I want to use the compute in a cluster and I do not need or want video. Is it possible for this motherboard to boot without a video card?

X10SAE is capable of headless configuration, displaying over the serial port. However to do this user will still need to bring up the video ONCE to go into the BIOS to enable console re-direction. Once configured, the board can boot with E3-12x0 v3 and without video card.
