I want to install OS in UEFI mode on X9SRL-F motherboard. However, UEFI selection for DVD did not show up as boot priority list. The DVD device did show up as regular boot device. Is this BIOS bug?

Answer
Make sure the OS installation CD/DVD support UEFI mode. You could try put Windows XP installation CD into DVD device. User will not see DVD as UEFI boot device. Then replace with Window 7 installation DVD. Now, user will see DVD device list in UEFI selection.
