Question
By running the "reboot" command inside Linux or Windows in X10 DP boards with Intel i350 LAN chipset or X540 chipset, I can somehow see iKVM forced to be closed during OS reboot. I need to re-open the iKVM window. Is this a bug?

Answer
This is Intel's LAN chipset limitation. As LAN driver will fill link state to offline state, IPMI will detect this link-up state and identify if LAN is still health or connected. As the link is resume in next 2 seconds, it may be still possible to see iKVM closed during rebooting.
