I'm inquiring as to whether the Supermicro 2U Server H8QG6-F has the necessary configurational support to utilize any of the following GPUs:

GTX 980

GTX 980 Ti

GTX Titan Black

GTX Titan X (Maxwell Pre-2016)

GTX Titan X (Pascal 2016)

GTX 1080

The MB’s PCIe slots are GEN2 whereas the mentioned GPUs are GEN3 optimized.
Because of this, even if the GPUs work with the MB, you will encounter a significant performance degradation.
