I added an AOE card to SYS-1028UX-LL3-B8, in additional to the 2x Solarflare SFN8522 NICs previously added to the system. That AOE operated somewhat hot due to it has its own processor. So I am concerned the overall heat of the 3 cards combined and was wondering if can add more fans.

Since the system is running fine and no over heat on IPMI sensor reading, and also by design, this 1U system can take 3 AOC and the system already installed maximum 8x fans, therefore no more fans can be added. If in the future you find IPMI overheating due to these cards, you may then create a formal CRM case for further debugging as needed.
