I am looking to replace the 3Gbit disk drive backplane with a 6gb backplane in these units 2042G-72RF4.

Do you have a replacement backplane board we can buy to accomplish this upgrade?

2042G-72RF4 uses chassis CSE-828TQ+-R1K43LPB which uses backplane BPN-SAS-828TQ.

BPN-SAS-828TQ can support 6Gbps SAS HDD with controller LSI 2208 (6Gbps SAS2).
