Question
I have a motherboard X9DRL-IF. I have 2 questions about BIOS password.
1. Are the BIOS passwords saved encrypted, so that they cannot be plainly read (clear text)?
2. Is hashing used for the storing of passwords, such as SHA-256?
Please advise.

2. No. AMI use its own rule to hash the password for X9.
