Our platform is X11 with latest 1.71.11 IPMI firmware ，we enable the SNMP V3 support, and edit the alert destination, but when we send "test alert", use the snmp trap function of IPMIview, we can't receive any alert trap message.

Answer
The trap function of IPMIview only support SNMP V1 trap message. please use third party utility to received SNMP V3 trap message.
