We recently purchased and deployed four SYS-7049P-TRT units with the following specs: Configuration components listed.
Performance wise, we only ran into issues with VMs running Remote Desktop Services (Terminal / Multipoint Servers), otherwise, everything is rock solid.
Do you have any recommendations to help us overcome the issue with terminal/multipoint/rds servers?
I was thinking of running those VMs on NVME M.2 Cards.
Is SYS-7049P-TRT capable of providing a RAID 1 on NVME M.2s? If yes, how many of them can be raid onboard.

RDS is fully controlled by OS. We don’t have RDS validated in house. As for performance improvement, end users interact directly with RDS and share a finite amount of resources. OS is controlling the resource sharing… We cannot provide any recommendation for performance improvement.

To configure RAID, A VROC key is required. This SYS-7049P-TRT is capable of providing a RAID 1 on NVME M.2s.
