Question
We are using several certified Servers for VMware ESX 3.5 U2 in combination with and Adaptec 2230SLP SCSI RAID controller. The problem have is low performance and the system become unresponsive if hot-swap harddrives are removed or inserted. After exchanging all hardware and updating BIOS and firmware the issue is still the same. Is there a solution to correct this?

This issue is related to VMware ESX driver for 2230SLP. Please use VMware ESX 3.5 Update 3 which has updated driver which fixes performance and hot-swap issues.
