Installing the Chassis into the Rack

After the rails are installed on the SYS-212B-LN2T server and on the rack, the server can be installed in the rack.

Important: Use caution when mounting or removing the system from the rack. For large systems, at least one other person must assist during installation or removal. Follow the safety recommendations printed on the rails. Depending on the size of the system, you might need to use a lift.

Slide the server into the rack so that the bottom of the SYS-212B-LN2T server slides onto the bottom lip of the rails. Carefully align the left and right inner rails on the server to the matching outer rails on the rack.
