We recently looked at the Supermicro SYS-112D-40C-FN8P, a short-depth Intel Xeon 6 SoC system with eight 25GbE ports. This Supermicro SYS-112D-36C-FN3P is a similar 36-core version, but the bigger change is networking. Instead of 8x 25GbE, this platform gives us 2x QSFP28 100GbE in the same general front-I/O 1U format.

We have so much to cover today. In our Supermicro SYS-112D-40C-FN8P review, we are going to take a look at the Intel Xeon 6 SoC (Granite Rapids-D) in action. The system is a short-depth 1U chassis with front I/O and power supplies. Aside from the CPU, one of its biggest features is the inclusion of 8x 25GbE ports and support for a double-width PCIe accelerator.

The Supermicro SYS-E403-14B-FRN2T is an IoT server that comes in a neat form factor. Over the past few years, we have featured the Supermicro E403 platforms a few times, but we have never reviewed one.
