I was able to install driver for Intel Gigabit Ethernet in RedHat Linux, but I cannot use it. What should I do?

You need to activate it in order to use it. One simple way to do it is (1) go to Xserver (2) Under System, choose Network Configuration (3) add Intel Ethernet 1000/gigabit and activate it. If you are familiar with Linux, you may do so by using appropriate command.
