Can you verify if the 2015TA-HTRF with X7SPT-DF-D525+ MB chipset would support 4GB DIMMS to allow a total of 8GB unofficially? I know that the MB can handle up to 4GB and you guys have supported DIMMS for it, but wasn't sure if 4GB DIMMS would work on it.
Each node supports up to 4GB of memory. There are two nodes per motherboard; there are 4 motherboards per system, and each node supports up to 4Gb, therefore, there are 32Gbs. (2x4x4=32Gbs.) There are two nodes on each X7SPT-DF-D525 in the system. Each node supports up to 4GB of unbuffered Non-ECC DDR3 SODIMMs (800MHz in two SO DIMM slots.) Populating these DIMM slots with a pair of memory modules of the same type and same size will result in interleaved memory, which will improve memory performance.
