Each SC808 chassis model includes a high-efficiency 80-plus Platinum certified power supply, rated at 1280 Watts plus one redundant backup power supply. Does this mean that the server comes with two power supplies? One installed and an extra one in case of failure?

Answer
This system installed only one power module. Power supply self had redundancy but one unit power can not make system redundancy. It means system turn off if power failed.
