I have a X9SAE-V motherboard. It boots up fine with core i3, but it doesn’t have any video and I heard 5 short beeps when I have E3-1230 v2 installed.

E3-1230 v2 doesn’t have integrated graphic. You will need to get E3-1200 series that ends with 5. i.e. E3-1225 v2.
