Using CentOS 6.0 in RAID1 (RAID from CentOS). When we test the redundancy by removing 1 of the drives the system does not start, all we get is "Harddisk error". What is the problem?

This issue is not hardware related but caused by a bug in CentOS. The only solution is to use CentOS 6.4 or later.
