Question
I am use three AOC-SASLP-MV8 cards on a ASUS P8Z77-M PRO motherboard which has three PCI-e slots. Problem is, the Marvell Bios only recognizes TWO of them. When trying different slots with two cards, those two are always recognized, which makes me think that which slot I use does not matter. They are all good but when i using three cards at once, only the two in the white PCI-e slots are recognized, whereas the one in the blue slot is not. But in Windows OS started up I can see three cards in Device Manager under “Storage Controllers”: all working properly. The only thing is: the Marvell Bios initializes only two out of three cards. Can it be a firmware problem?

Answer
I believe your ASUS motherboard it had memory expansion ROM limitation support that why it does not see third AOC-SASLP-MV8 card on BIOS display post screen. Please check with ASUS to see they have any other option work around.
