Question
I have a X9SCM-F motherboard that I have just upgraded to the recent BIOS. In ESXi, it shows up as a 82579V instead of the Intel 82579LM that it is supposed to have. Do you know what is problem can be?

Answer
The NICs might have been corrupted somehow when you were updating the BIOS. Please contact technical support for the correct LAN EEPROM package as well as instructions on how to flash the firmware of the NICs.
