I am using Supermicro chassis SC742 with a non-Supermicro motherboard, one of the stand-offs at the edge of chassis almost touch the back of the board, and I cannot remove that stand-off, what should I do?

Answer
You can use a plastic film or rubber to cover that stand-off to prevent it from shorting the board.
