I have Supermicro server with MBI-6128R-T2X. I've used IPMI tool (SMCIPMItool) to power on/off the server, set IP address and so on. Can I use SMCIpmitool to perform BIOS setting changes on Supermicro servers?

It is not possible to change BIOS settings using SMC IPMI tool. You can, however, purchase an OOB license key and use our SUM utility to download BIOS file, change, and upload it back. The MB need needs to reboot to changes to take effect.
