What is the fastest CPU that I can use on my Intel BX/GX mainboard?

For our P6SB/Gxx and P6DB/Gxx, the following procedure has to be followed to determine the fastest CPU you can use:

1. You must see the following link to make sure your voltage controller is HIP6004BCB chipset because only that chip can support CPU above PIII 600MHz.

2. If your voltage controller is a HIP6004BCB, please update your BIOS from our web. It will be able to support up to 1.0GHz Coppermine processor (100MHz FSB) for Slot1 Architecture.

3. If your voltage controller is not a HIP6004BCB, please use PIII only up to 550MHz.
