We have SuperServer 1028R-WC1R. We also have:
1. MegaRAID 9440-8i
2. 2x Intel p4510 SSDPE2KX010T801
3. 2x CBL-SAST-0590  
Server Firmware (BIOS) configured for PCI-e devices operating EFI mode only.
In BIOS menu i can see this new MegaRadi EFI menu/settings. But there is no any drives shown in this menus..

This system (1028R-WC1R) has an on-board S3108 HW RAID controller, so why would you need install a LSI-9440-8i?  
If you connect the SAS3 cable from the backplane to the LSI-9440-8i and it could not see the drives, 
please check LSI website for newer firmware availability.
