How many pins should the SCSI hard drives have in order to connect to a SCSI backplane? And how many pins should the cable have in order to connect between SCSI backplane and motherboard/controller?
Our "hot-plug" SuperServer SCSI backplanes only support 80-pin SCA drives. And the cable that connects SCSI backplane to the motherboard/controller has to be a 68-pin Ultra III LVD.
