We have a SYS-220U-TNR that's having issue with some nvme drives keep dropping off from PCIe bus.  Is there any troubleshooting tips and solution to address this issue?

Try move the nvme drives that are dropping to other slots.  
Add this into grub and rebuild the grub file
"nvme_core.default_ps_max_latency_us=0 pcie_aspm=off pcie_port_pm=off raid=noautodetect pci=pcie_bus_perf
