Question
I am looking to use a system that has the X13DEG-QT motherboard with X550 cards. Does this board support EFI iSCSI LAN boot? If so, what BIOS version do I need to enable the iSCSI options? I am able to do it on an X11 board.

Answer
Due to security concerns, Intel and many network card manufacturers have removed EFI iSCSI boot support completely.  From X12 and newer, all iSCSI support has been removed from BIOS.
Some of our old X11DP motherboards still have UEFI iSCSI LUN boot support.

If you are looking for iSCSI boot, you might want to check out iPXE.  You can build iscsi EFI driver using ipxe git.
