SYS-1029P-WTR ; We have a Supermicro SYS-1029P-WTR system (X11DDW-L)in our environment, and I am looking for a way to monitor the health of the physical hard drives in the system, and ideally to get alerts when there are signs of hard drive problems. Can you please direct me to a product or service to do this?

(1) This server integrates with BMC/IPMI chip.
You may setup IPMI/SNMP/SMTP to send alert mail when warning/critical flags detected in Event Health log, you may set the expecting Event Severities.

(2) You may also use SAS controller utilities/commands, depends on your SAN controller, to check drive/RAID health status.
