Question
I have your P4SCE motherboard. After installing Win XP, I notice the IDE CD-ROM drive is missing inside My Computer. Because I used the CD-ROM to load Win XP, I know the CD-ROM is good. Do you have any suggestion to fix this?

For some newer CD-ROM drive you must use an 80pin IDE cable or else Win XP will not recognize it. Also, make sure you update to Service Pack 1 for Win XP.
