Accounts

IPMI and Redfish accounts are now separate, which might result in backward-compatibility issues after firmware updates with the user preserved. Do not preserve the user for updates to versions starting with BMC firmware 01.05.xx (Gen 13), 01.02.xx.xx (Gen 14), or 01.04.xx (NVIDIA Superchip).

Notes: 

  • Any administrator can be disabled by another administrator.

  • If using BMC reset default without user preservation, the admin account will be re-enabled.

  • An account with a currently active session cannot be disabled.
