Why does P4DC6 give a siren sound whenever I power it on?

Please check and make sure the followings are met in order to cure this problem:

1. Check and make sure that your power supply is supporting Xeon motherboard. The power supply must have an 8-pin 12v connector to support Xeon processors.

2. There's a set of 2 VRM modules that come with motherboard, and you need to install those to regulate the current going into processors. If you do not have these modules, please contact Supermicro
RMA Department to order a new set.
