I want to read the Power consumption in ipmitool, how can I do that?

Use SMCIPMITool (command line) or IPMIView.

Those are Supermicro’s tools. It has OEM values inside to read Power Supply consumption and info.

Open source tools like ‘ipmitool’ doesn’t have OEM values so it can only read basic “Power Supply OK” or “Fail” status.

edit: this applies to the newer X9-generation boards. Most older boards do not have nm on it.
