We have received some new Supermicro motherboards. Model X10SAE.
After performing a BIOS update for the motherboard. the system has no display, and beeps 6 times. The mother board came with BIOS version 1.0 and I tried to update it to X10SAE3.813. What should I do to recover the BIOS?
If you did not clear CMOS during your previous BIOS update and recovery, please try the following steps:
1. Rename X10SAE3.813 BIOS to Super.ROM.
2. Copy the Super.ROM into a bootable USB flash drive.
3. Plug the USB flash drive to the USB port on the motherboard, and then power on.
4. System will go into the BIOS recovery page.
5. Press Enter to finish the BIOS recovery routine.
If you did clear CMOS, then you will need to repeatedly press CTRL + Home to enter the recovery page.
