Our 6048R-E1CR90L, with PCI-E Lan card:Intel X710 and BIOS version:2.0a to install Ubuntu-16.04, 4.4.0-31-generic, connect Cisco switch and setup LACP bonding, sometimes we meet the LAN card lost connection issue, can you guide us how to troubleshooting this issue ?

You'll need to confirm the driver version and LACP/bonding status under OS

Commands:

# service network restart

# ifconfig

# cat /proc/net/bonding/bond1

# lsmod | grep -ibond


Note that when implementing 802.3ad teams on Cisco switch ports in trunking mode, set the native/untagged VLAN for these ports to ID 1. Otherwise, you may experience traffic loss or lack of failover between aggregators. See your Cisco documentation for information about setting the native VLAN ID.
