Question
I have X10DRi-T motherboard and 2 Intel Xeon CPUs installed on it, starting install Ubuntu 16.04. Everything looks fine, opening Ubuntu OS, etc. But, I found only one CPU was detected.

When I checked BIOS, the 2nd CPU was not recognized at all. Could you please advise me what I need to check?

I already swap the CPUs on the board--it tells the 2nd CPU itself is OK, running on the 1st slot.

Motherboard model: X10DRi-T

PCB Revision number: see attached picture (000162400029)?

BIOS Version: 2.0

Build Date: 12/28/2015 11:14:38

System configuration: 2 Intel Xeon E5-1650v3 LGA 2011, 6 x 16GB PC4-2133P Hynix memory, plus a HDD

Answer
The Intel Xeon E5-1650v3 CPU does not have Intel(R) QPI link option so it will not recognize in 2nd CPU's socket.
