Question
I am using SMCIPMITOOL to monitor the status of storage in SSG-6048R-E1CR36H. the output of SMCIPMITOOL HDD info has a reversed backplane order, and it results in a total HDD index number "48" instead of "36". How can I fix it?

Answer
Please take off all drives at front and rear and then use command “storcli /c0 delete nvram” to clear NVRAM.

Do AC power cycle and power up the system and then insert all front HDD to let SAS controller and BMC recognize the front drives first.

At last, insert all the left drives at the rear.
