I am using the SYS-5037MR-H8TRF. I am getting a memory error message upon post when using the E5-1600 V4 series CPUs. If I use an E5-2600 V3 CPU, I don't see the memory issue and the nodes post normally. Do the E5-1600 v3/v4 CPUs use different memory form the E5-1600 V3 CPUs?

This issue is most likely due to the Bios version being lower than the 2.0 needed to support the E5-2600 V4 and E5-1600 V4 CPUs. You will need to use either ran E5-1600 V3 or E5-2600 V3 CPUs to update the Bios to Bios 2.0 or later to be able to use the V4 CPUs.
