Question
I have a few questions regarding iSCSI boot on Supermicro on-board NICs:

1. Are we able to flash the on-board NICs with bootutil?

2. There is an iSCSI configuration tab in the motherboard BIOS. Is there any way to enable this option? And if so, would one be able to change the iSCSI configuration through SUM? (It would say something like 'Necessary network protocols are not available to retrieve")

3. If SUM does not work, are there any alternative ways to remotely change the iSCSI configurations?

Answer
It seems you want to update the iSCSI Option ROM to Onboard LAN.

1. It will not be able to flash the Option ROM to 1G onboard LAN, except the newer generation of LAN controllers: X550, XL710. (It’s depended on MB model)

2. It is better to have the MB model, the we can provide the screenshots

3. IPMI Web GUI.
