I have a SYS-6049GP-TRT superserver with 24 hard drive bays. Under the Optional Parts List, (MCP-220-00118-0B) is for Hot-swap 3.5” to 2.5” SATA/SAS Drive Tray and (MCP-220-00138-0B) is for Hot-swap 3.5” to 2.5” NVMe Drive Tray. Both Drive Trays are looked so identically one to another and the only difference is the (Red Tab & Orange Tab). If I already bought the MCP-220-00118-0B, can I use it for NVME U.2 SSD?

The drives will physically fit but it is highly recommended to use the correct trays to quickly and easily identify which type of device is installed in the slots.
