Question
I have your 7042P-8 and used the second channel SCSI for a tape backup. Now only three hard drives are detected. How can i have all drives detected and still use my tape drive?

Answer
The 7042P-8 has a two-channel SCA hard drive backplane that cannot be daisy chained together. You must use both SCSI channels from the motherboard on this backplane. We would suggest you get an inexpensive SCSI card for your tape backup.
