I want to use your Quad Xeon P4QH6 server board for a high end Workstation, are there any issues in using a server board for Workstations?
There are only two concerns you need to be aware of. There is very little difference between Workstation motherboards and Server Boards other then Workstation motherboards normally have AGP and chassis availability of such a large motherboard like the Quad processing P4QH6. The chipset used on this Server Board does not support AGP, so if there is a requirement for AGP support then this is not a very good choice. The P4QH6 is a very large motherboard and requires a very special chassis, our rack mount and Pedestal chassis are server class and quite noisy. If noise is of an issue then a custom chassis would have to be used.
